5/13/02 - I FINALLY went fishing. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it was "only" lake fishing, and it was an extremely slow day. I hooked the trout, my friend reeled it in, and I netted it. Does that count as catching my first fish? I’m not sure. That was the only fish we caught all day, so I didn’t get too much experience, but at least I got the big picture of lake fishing.
