A day at the Ranch |
|
Thanks for a really nice afternoon. I agree that just being with the horses and
brushing them is a wonderful way to spend a day. Bandit is a ham in front of a camera, but I guess you knew that already! I like the one where Star and Bandit are both backlit. I took it from inside the hay storage room. the perspective in the picture looks like I had a fish-eye lens, but its just the light and the shape of the fence. The "paint your own ceramic" place at Carmel mountain is called Clay n Latte. They will not fire outside stuff, but maybe if we did some work there one day to establish ourselves as customers, they might fire other stuff for us later. I dont blame them for being wary of stuff that people bring in. It can really mess up a kiln load of stuff. The other option is Busy Fingers, in Escondido, but I have not spoken with them. And there used to be a second paint your own place in Carmel mountain. It was next to the Jamba Juice, but I havent been in that area in a long time. I think it was a "Color Me Mine." Lisa |
