March 9, 2006 - Snow day today equaled a nice 14lb Springer for Greg Seamster on a K-15 at Oregon City.

February 22, 2006 - Looky, looky, a Chinook'y in February. Caught at 7:55 am this morning in Captain Brent's boat the SS Exile. She ate a herring and swam in crazy circles around the boat 2 1/2 times

November 12, 2005 - Pictures from a recent trip to the Snake River Hunting with Gary & Blake Miller and Jordan Melberg. We had a great shoot and lots of fun. We left Portland at 3am Monday and set up at 11am on the Snake 35 miles west of Ontario OR. We shot 20 Mallards and 2 honkers - Jordan shot a banded Mallard Drake. Tuesday we hunted 40 miles SE of Ontario and worked hard (setting up twice) for 23 Mallards, 1 Widgeon, 2 Bluebills, 1Redhead (rare). Wednesday we went back to the spot we shot Monday and the Snake River had risen 5 feet with rain and snow melt. We never fired a shot.

April 27, 2005 - Yesterdays catch by Jerry the "Prawn Master". This Springer was extra fresh & pretty with sea lice and scales falling off.

April 18, 2005 - Columbia Action - Gary and I hosted Mike, Aaron and Charles for some Springer action on the Columbia. We managed to bounce up a limit today!

April 10, 2005 - Great Day! Fished the big C with Mike Park, Ron Park and Fernando. We landed 6 springers, 3 came on "Mike's Magic Bait". I enjoyed watching Ron bounce for 3 hours to get the last fish :(

April 4, 2005 - Jeff Melberg - Marathoned fished Oregon City today and managed to bounce up this Springer on eggs. Fished with my three friends Me, Myself.& I. "I" did a great job on the net.

March 28, 2005 - First keeper Spring Chinook of the 2005 year. 14 lbs. Columbia River. Cold, cold morning with lots of rain. Steve, Brent and I had four chances and landed two.


	1/14/05 - Duck hunting on the Snake River with Gary and Dave. Highlights include a banded Gadwall hen (bling)! We had Spring like blue bird weather for January.

12/29/04 - Shot 25 Mallards on the upper Columbia yesterday with Gary & Blake Miller. Pictured: Jordan Melberg with Dad's banded mallard drake from inside the boat blind. Yes, it was cold!

12/22/04 - Pre Christmas Goose Hunt - Special Thanks to Bruce for finding the field. Six Hunters: Gary Miller, Bruce Polley, Sam I Am, Blake Miller, Jordan Melberg and Jeff Melberg.

June 10, 2004 - I came out of fishing retirement to show Bruce the Clackamas. We landed 5 for 9. Fished bobbers and landed 4. Good fishing.

May 27, 2004 - I got skunked today! I am in my truck, out of the rain. Picture from my cell phone.

April 14, 2004 - Pictures from this weeks fishing on the Columbia.

We won 1st. place in the 2004 Willamette Salmon Quest Fishing Tournament held Saturday April 3, 2004. Over 77 teams participated consisting of professional fishing guides with two team members.
	I served as a volunteer guide - fishing my boat with Bruce Polley and Steve Salverson. We fished the Columbia hard from 5:30am to 3:30pm and landed five (5) Spring Chinook earning first place. Second place landed 3 salmon and third 2 salmon. Steve, hooked up with a Chinook and a Seal at the same time. The Seal won, eating most of Steve's salmon. All, was lost to the seal except the upper and lower jaw and my lucky Kwik Fish!

March 30, 2004 - Fished in Gary's boat for awhile today. Weather was cold and nasty. We managed to hook and land 3 chinook and two keepers, Will Wilson had the hot rod.

March 29, 2004 - I fished with Greg Seamster and Jerrry Burns on the Columbia. We landed 5 Chinook and took home 3. Jerry was an "All Star" for bouncing up two nookers today. (the final nooker freight trained him).

March 23, 2004 - Break. Gary and Blake Miller showed up a 10:15 am and we landed a total of 5 Spring Chinook for 7 chances. Pictured 3 keeper Springers.

Highlight includes: Gary caught one on a reel in. Jordan took one away from a sea lion that tried to steal our catch during the hook up.

March 12, 2004 - Got a little blood in my boat tonight after work. two chinook and 1 steelhead for a couple hours of fishing.

		Hunting in January 2004 with my son Jordan and his friend Blake with Gary Miller on the Snake River. My lab is the Chocolate named Baily and Gary has the young Yellow Lab named Sady and the Black Lab is Jake. Pictures are from the Snake River, Oregon Idaho border.

Last year I took a new guy under my wing his name is Bruce Polley. Fishing with Bruce once is impossible - he grows on you like the stuff between your toes. Here are some pictures fishing with Bruce last year.

May 9, 2005 - Fished with the "Jet Jockey" and bounced up a couple nice Springers. The big one weighed over 24 pounds


	May 4, 2004 - From the Clackamas, the 105th Springer boated in my boat this season.

	April 19, 2004 - Bill Monroe, Bruce, Gary and I landed 10, again.

April 18, 2004 - Jordan, Blake, Gary and I landed 10 salmon after Church!
